Product Warranty & Manufacturing Guarantee

1. Our Commitment to Quality

At FYT Shop (a trading name of HHM TRADING LTD, Company No: 16630980), we specialize in "Premium Imports" from the world’s most respected combat sports brands, including Fairtex, Twins, and RDX. Because we supply Category II Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we are committed to ensuring our gear meets the high standards of safety and durability required for intense training.

2. Manufacturing Warranty Period

In addition to your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, FYT Shop provides a 6-month Limited Manufacturing Warranty on all premium equipment (boxing gloves, shin guards, headgear, and pads) from the date of delivery.

3. What is Covered

This warranty applies exclusively to verifiable manufacturing defects, including:

  • Failure of structural stitching or seams under normal training conditions.

  • Internal foam crumbling or shifting (excluding standard compression over time).

  • Defective hook-and-loop (Velcro) attachments or hardware failure.

4. What is Not Covered (Exclusions)

Combat sports gear is subjected to extreme physical stress. This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Scuffs, scratches, or fading of leather and graphics occurring through regular use or sparring.

  • Misuse or Neglect: Damage caused by improper cleaning (e.g., machine washing leather), using gear for non-intended purposes, or leaving gear in damp, unventilated gym bags.

  • Hygienic Items: For safety and health reasons, items like mouthguards and groin guards are excluded from warranty once the protective seal is broken.

5. Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your product has a manufacturing fault, please follow these forensic steps to initiate a claim:

  1. Contact Us: Email admin@fytshop.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue.

  2. Provide Evidence: Attach clear, high-resolution photographs of the defect and a photo of the entire product to show its general condition.

  3. Assessment: Our team in Manchester will review the claim. We may request that the item be returned to our office at 4 Winterburn Avenue, Manchester, M21 7PE for physical inspection.

6. Resolution

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will, at our discretion:

  • Replace the item with a new unit of the same model and size.

  • Provide an alternative of equal value if the original is out of stock.

  • Issue a full refund if a replacement is not viable.

7. Statutory Rights (UK Law)

This policy is provided in addition to your legal rights as a consumer in the United Kingdom. Nothing in this warranty affects your right to return faulty goods within the statutory timeframes defined by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
